Bing's New Era Just three months ago, we introduced the new AI-powered Microsoft Bing and Edge to revolutionize search. The new Bing offers better search results, the ability to ask and receive answers, and a more user-friendly experience, including the ability to chat naturally. Combining large language models with our vast search index, Bing delivers current, cited, and conversational results that can't be found elsewhere, fundamentally changing the way people access information. The new Bing is now available in open preview without a waitlist. It offers enhanced, visually rich answers with charts, graphs, and improved formatting for easier access to information. Furthermore, Image Creator is being expanded to over 100 languages in Bing. And the best part of it, Microsoft Advertising advertisers are automatically part of it! There we are unlocking new advertiser value and potential with more reach, greater ROI, next level automation and new innovations! Bing Chat Usage & Impact Edge mobile and performance increase Engagement with Bing and Edge goes up when people use new Bing chat drives a 3x higher CTR relative to traditional Bing search (US). There looks to be ample opportunity for ad visibility in Bing chat; users average 66% more time here than the traditional search.

I am curious; what was your first search on the new chat? In my first chat I looked for breakfast ideas and recipe based on my nutritional plan. We are seeing in preliminary data that the Bing chat queries are on average 3x the length of traditional search. Bing chat drives higher engagement that could lead to deeper ad consideration and reduce lead time to conversion and Mobile is as important as ever.
